A four-week AWS Cloud Practitioner study plan is a schedule for covering the exam objectives and checking your gaps. It is not a promise that four weeks will be enough for every candidate. Start with the current CLF-C02 guide, choose study blocks you can keep, and track what you can explain without looking at notes.
This guide adds a practical worksheet to the exam facts. The schedule and exercises below are original suggestions from CertPunch, not an AWS-approved training course. Exam information was checked on 10 October 2026.
Exam facts to check before booking
The official AWS certification page lists a 90-minute exam with 65 multiple-choice or multiple-response questions and a US$100 exam fee. Confirm local taxes, appointment conditions and availability in your certification account before paying. Do not interpret a practice percentage as the vendor’s scaled passing score.
Turn the objectives into a study worksheet
The CLF-C02 exam guide divides scored content into Cloud Concepts (24%), Security and Compliance (30%), Cloud Technology and Services (34%), and Billing, Pricing and Support (12%). These are exam weights, not a rule that your personal study time must match them.

Give each objective a status: not started, can explain, needs review. Add the official document you used and the date of your last review. A green box should mean you can explain the idea, not that you watched a video containing its name.
A four-week schedule you can adjust

This example allocates 15 hours in total: 20 blocks × 45 minutes. If you need more time for unfamiliar topics, keep the objectives and extend the schedule. Reserve a separate uninterrupted block for a full-length practice session; do not squeeze a 90-minute exercise into a 45-minute appointment.
Review mistakes instead of memorising answer letters
For each missed practice question, write the requirement, your reasoning, the concept you confused and the official reference that resolves it. Revisit it using a different example. Questions remembered word for word can create a misleading feeling of readiness.
Suppose a practice explanation reveals that you mixed up a service’s purpose with its pricing model. Your next action is to rebuild that comparison, not to repeat the same question until you recognise the correct option. Use licensed original practice questions; avoid exam dumps and claims to reproduce a live exam.
Decide whether to book
- Can you explain the objectives across all four domains?
- Are mistakes concentrated in topics you still need to study?
- Can you finish timed work while leaving time to review?
- Have you checked the current exam guide and the booking terms?
